![]() Every day was amazing at SWS this week. We could spend a looonnnng time sharing all the wonderful things going on here. I'm going to focus on what I think were the two most exciting for students: the garden and the House wheel! Several classes visited the garden this week. Students loved watering, weeding, and even harvesting some! In Mrs. Hope and Sims Classes students took note of observations they made. In Mrs. Gibson and Thomas's classes, students were amazed at the actual feel of "real" vegetables! Here are a couple of photos to show just how excited they were! The second amazingly fun experience was the House Wheel. We wanted to incorporate Houses after we saw their effect when we visited the Ron Clark Academy this spring. So we created our own house groups, built a wheel (special shout out to Mr. Chris Bell!), and painted it with our house colors. Students in Mrs. Harris's class and Mrs. Luce's class spun this week. Other classes will join in the fun next week. Stay tuned for updates on our houses!
