Alyssa has worked in education for 7 years. She graduated from Auburn and worked at Harris Early Learning center in Birmingham, Alabama. She then moved to Bright Horizons at Riverchase, another child development center. In both settings she worked with children from the ages of infancy to 2 years. She has always had a love for learning and working with children. After returning to school to obtain her Masters in Elementary Education, she began working at Albertville Primary School teaching first grade during the 2012-2013 school year.
Alyssa was born in Marietta, Georgia. Her family moved back to their hometown, Albertville when she was 6 months old. She lived and attended school in Albertville until she entered 4th grade, when she moved with her family to a small island in the Pacific Ocean, Kwajalein, in the Marshall Islands. She lived there until the beginning of her 9th grade year, when she returned to her hometown of Albertville. She graduated from Albertville High school in 2001. She has two older brothers, three nieces, and one nephew. She loves Albertville and being a part of a great school system and community.
