About UsSWS (School Within a School) @ Albertville was organized in 2015 to be a teacher-led, smaller learning community for grades 1-4, with an emphasis on parents-as-partners and portfolio-based assessment.
Our mission is to empower students to become respectful high-achieving citizens who are prepared to accomplish their goals through diverse, standards-based learning experiences guided by the collaborative effort of educators, families, and communities. Our community is located within the newly renovated section of the ACLC building. It connects to the larger APS/AES campus, allowing students access to shared sections such as our Media Center, PE buildings, and cafetorium. |
